Flexible and nimble, our organization is designed to enable us to deliver the capability and performance needed to meet customers' needs in a quick and responsive manner. Our corporate officers have extensive experience with the military, Government agencies, and the public sector. With an average of 20 years of experience each, our Executive Directors and Senior Management Team bring creativity and expertise in the specialty fields of IT and financial management. Their leadership enables and enhances our service delivery to customers. In addition, Powertek's Board of Advisors provides a deep commitment for making significant contributions to the company and our customers.

Nancy Scott, President and CEO
- 25 Years of proven leadership and IT Government business experience.
- Provides corporate direction, leadership, growth, and oversight.
- Led Powertek to winning such prestigious industry awards as Fast 50, Inc. 5000, and National Technology Firm of the Year, among others.
- Has instituted a culture of excellence in customer and employee care.
- Has established a culture of innovation, providing strategic alignment and necessary resources.
- Developed and implemented Powertek’s service strategy to include positioning and pricing approaches.
- Provides leadership to Powertek’s Board of Advisors in the development of long-term strategic plans.
- Has served in various management and marketing roles throughout her career.
- Led multi-year, multi-million dollar projects in the civilian and DoD arenas.
Samar Ghadry, Executive Vice President
- 25 Years of business experience as a proven leader, focusing on operational excellence across multiple industries.
- Held key executive positions with industry-leading companies including Chief Operating Officer and Sr. Vice President of Marketing.
- Led Powertek through a strong period of growth and strategic realignment.
- Created a customer-centric business model.
- Built and synergized corporate capabilities to help the business achieve its vision.
- Provided vision and leadership to develop Powertek’s strategic plan and marketing strategy.
- Possesses a wealth of experience in Federal Government IT industry in both sales and operations.
- Led efforts in wins valued at more than $700 million.
Dan Mintz, Chief Operating Officer
- 30 Years of executive experience in the private and public sector.
- Served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the United States Department of Transportation (DOT).
- Created the DOT Department-wide Cyber-Security Management Center, CSMC, and established a number of Government 2.0 initiatives putting the Department at the forefront of the social networking revolution within Government.
- Received a Federal 100 award and was the first recipient of the Federal CIO Council Government 2.0 award in 2008.
- Appointed as a Delegate to the White House Conference on Aging in 2005.
- Served as a member of the State of Maryland Advisory Panel on Electronic Commerce providing advice on legislation necessary to enable on-line commerce.
- Speaks at many conferences on Government 2.0 and 3.0 and cyber-security issues.
- Teaches IT Acquisition and Security Policy at Syracuse University and at the University of Maryland University College (UMUC).
- Serves as an advisor to Cyberwatch, a National Science Foundation (NSF) funded educational initiative, and to the University of Maryland University College Cyber-security Laboratory.
- Active in government and industry trade groups, holding leadership roles in ACT-IAC, AFCEA, and TechAmerica.
Steve Miller, Vice President of Finance
- 15 Years of experience in finance, accounting, contracts, and administration.
- Has served in various executive and management positions including Vice President of Finance, Controller, and Director of Contracts at large and small businesses.
- Experience in establishing in-place systems to help companies position themselves for growth.
- Experience with private, public, non-profit, and commercial companies ranging from $20 million in annual revenue to $1 billion.
Linda Bunton, Vice President of Business Development
- Over 20 Years of proven business development, marketing, and operations management experience.
- Held progressively responsible management/executive roles including Senior Manager, Managing Director, and Director of Business Development
- Experience in identifying target markets, cultivating key contacts, positioning the business and developing and executing capture plans.
- Manages daily business development operations and executes growth strategy.
- Identifies and leads strategic teaming efforts with industry.
- Represents the company in professional and community organizations.
- Generated over $280 Million in contract wins over the past year and increased revenues over 50%
- In addition to positions at industry-leading corporations, she has worked for the U.S. Senate, the U.S. Embassy and Parliament House in Australia providing financial and management expertise
Goodwin Ting, Chief Technology Officer
- 25 years of Technical and Business Management leadership experience providing IT solutions to US and International public sector and commercial customers.
- Directed the development and implementation of technical strategies for winning US Federal Civilian, Department of Defense, Intelligence, and State government programs with annual revenues of $1.4 billion.
- Established and directed global sales business unit with revenue centers in Government, Transportation, Defense, and Public Healthcare sectors resulting in over $500 Million in revenue growth over 3 years.
- Consulted on the design and implementation of solutions in enterprise architectures, eGovernment service delivery, information assurance and cyber security, data center modernization, cloud computing, biometrics, and command & control systems.
- Successfully led multiple incubator and startup initiatives which generated over $200 million in combined sales.
- Speaker at AFCEA, JavaOne, State Government CIO Forums, Gartner Symposiums, and Transportation and Defense industry conferences.
Jim Flyzik, Board Member
- Served over 27 years in Federal Government
- Chief of Communications and Information Systems at the U.S. Secret Service (served for 18 years)
- CIO at the U.S. Treasury Department for 7 years
- Senior Technology Advisor to Tom Ridge in the White House Office of Homeland Security following the terrorist attacks on 9/11
- Headed up the Reinventing Government Information Technology Team
- Served several years as Vice Chair of the Federal CIO Council
- Received dozens of prestigious awards including being named Government Information Technology Executive of the Year 3 separate times and 2 Presidential Rank Awards
- Inducted into the CIO Magazine Hall of Fame on October 29, 2007. He joined 31 other CIO’s inducted over the past 20 years and was the first career government CIO to be selected
- Given the Stanley J. Drazek Excellence in Teaching Award in 1998 by the University of Maryland
- Developed, and teaches part-time, a graduate level course on Information Systems Security and Risk Assessment at the University of Maryland
- Serves as the Chairman of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association Committee on Homeland Security
- Jim currently hosts the monthly radio program, The Federal Executive Forum, on WFED 1050 AM
Kevin Carroll, Board Member
- Served as the Army’s Program Executive Officer for Enterprise Information System.
- Responsible for the program management of the DoD and Army business and combat service support systems and the Army’s communications and computer infrastructure, which supported logistics, medical, personnel, training, and transportation operations.
- Assistant deputy chief of staff for research development and acquisition, Army Materiel Command.
- Acting Director of the Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) Acquisition Center, Fort Monmouth, NJ, and as associate director of the CECOM Acquisition Center–Washington.
- Director of the Army Information Systems Selection and Acquisition Agency.
Robert E. Suda, Member, Board Member
- As the Associate Administrator and Director of the Department of Transportation’s John Volpe National Transportation System Center in Cambridge, MA, managed 500 Federal staff and more than 500 contractors in the area of transportation research at the Federal, State, and local Government levels.
- Served as Associate Chief Information Officer for Integration and Operations for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, with oversight responsibility for the National Information Technology Center in Kansas City, MO, USDA Telecommunications Operations, and end-user IT support function for three USDA Service Center Agencies.
- Assistant Commissioner for the General Services Administration’s Office of IT Solutions (ITS) within the Federal Technology Service (FTS).
John Watkins, (Brig. General Retired), Board Member
- Served as Deputy Director for Operations, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), served as Chief Operations Officer for the DoD worldwide Data and Communications Network.
- Chief Information Officer for Pratt and Whitney, charged with refocusing the firm’s Information Technology Department.
- Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Fairchild Semiconductor; led the implementation of a new ERP system, a strategic planning system, and a corporate dashboard, which were credited with helping restore Fairchild to profitability.
- Served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Ingenium Corporation.
- Served on technical boards for Oracle Corporation, F2 Technologies, and Dell Corporation.
