Senior Security Specialist

Job Number: TI-0073

Location: Washington Metro Area

Education: Bachelor's degree in related field, CISSP preferred

Full Time or Part Time: Full Time

Security Clearance: Public Trust (or ability to obtain)

Basic Experience:
Eight years of progressive experience in the IT field, including 6 years of specialized experience in security analysis and design, implementation, and maintenance of the security infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide highly technical and specialized guidance in the planning, coordination, and implementation of a Federal organization’s information security.
  • Assess security tools and contribute knowledge of business security practices and procedures, different communication protocols, encryption techniques/tools, and current Internet/EC technology.
  • Perform elaborate analyses and studies in the areas of Continuity of Operations and disaster planning and recovery.
  • Prepare reports and give presentations to upper management.
