Business Manager

Education: Bachelor's degree in related field, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required

Basic Experience:
Eight years in a related senior management position in a Government IT services environment, including 5 years of experience providing business and financial management for IDIQ/task order contracts valued at over $50 million.


Responsibilities:
  • Plan and perform business management of multiple concurrent Government program task orders, ensuring that tasks, costs, and schedules are met.
  • Serve as a customer interface with Government Contracting Officer to communicate progress, issues, areas of concern, and other requirements.
  • Manage and prepare proposals and presentations.
  • Coordinate and manage contract and task order negotiations.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractor agreements and subcontractor management plans.
  • Coordinate the production and review of all contract-required cost and schedule reports for all task orders.
  • Plan, organize, and direct staff recruiting and retention efforts.
  • Screen and hire personnel and ensure that they meet all contract requirements.
  • Serve as the focal point for employee education and training for processes, procedures, tools, and technologies required for individual task orders.
  • Monitor task order submissions and award announcements.
  • Summarize task order requests and vet against qualification guidelines for bid/no-bid decisions; coordinate task order bid/no-bid decision process between Customer Account and sales support teams.
  • Support the development and maintenance of IDIQ support materials for sales, customer account, and growth platform functions.
  • Build the opportunity pipeline for a task order vehicle.
  • Coordinate transition of opportunities qualified for more formal proposal response generation.
  • Brief senior Government personnel.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, quantitative, and presentation skills.
