Powertek takes active measures to minimize the environmental impact from our operations. We promote awareness among our staff and diligently implement practices that protect resources and conserve energy.
Powertek has implemented a program called PowerSave to encourage our employees to implement the following into their daily practices:
Review drafts on screen; print drafts double-sided and in black and white; recycle paper; go paperless for meetings, etc.
Reuse paper clips, folders, binders, etc.; use refillable pens (disposables are not biodegradable and end up in landfills); turn off lights and electronics at the end of the day; eliminate the use of disposable dishware.
Carpool or take public transportation.
Choose glass or ceramic, which can be microwaved and refrigerated without the risk of leaking toxins, common with most plastics.
Use recycling bins to recycle paper, plastics, etc.
By using eco-friendly products, promoting “green” operations, and maintaining a healthy environment, Powertek continues to reduce our operational footprint and do our part to contribute to a sustainable global economy and the well-being of our employees and our customers.
